I suppose one could use what they know of psychology in order to discern the truth from a user, but why go to all that trouble when there is a much simpler way?
If you want someone to prove their identity, and they have a web cam, ask them to post a picture of them holding a piece of paper or cardboard with words on it saying, for example, Terminal Est.
How would that not be proof enough? But I guess again, it could be a friend willing to help the user lie, as you say.

I'm a hundred percent sure i'm a guy and i don't lie but they are right i actually did think Snag and Terminal were both dudes sorry i just never botherd to ask and with a webcame you can still have a friend of yours take their picture y'know like a stand in but oh well just some people are honest liars. hey snag where did you get the dragons for your sig

What concerns me is that you both said "I'm 100% sure that I'm a guy/girl".... when you should be saying "You can be sure that I'm a guy/girl" well that should be a given unless someone needs some explorin to do XD
