Non of yall know this, but i am a short film maker. And I just finished a trailer to a movie im making. Hope you like it. And yes I spelled Coming wrong.

Why are all home made films about zombies? x_x

The shots were pretty straight forward and lack really any sort of dynamic edge. The slight tilt on the first shot worked quite well but, was that intentional? ^^;

What do you mean by cliches? They were only a few basic shots. Im saving the good ones for the final product. And your speakers must be on the frits cus I can hear it just fine. The music is soposed to be weird and its a Zombie movie cus the film contest requiers it to be horror and this script was already written so it would be easy. But thanks for the comments.

Wake up and smell the coffee. It's a ZOMBIE MOVIE. There is nothing you can POSSIBLY do to make it TRULY original. Also, I couldnt hear the words either.

Do you have your speakers on some magical filtration algorithm to both block out the music AND increase the volume of the voice of the guy wearing the gas mask?

I played it back 3 times and I could not make out what he was saying (my speakers are FINE thank you). It's just a crappy mic job. You can't put a mic up to a guy wearing a mask and expect to hear what he's saying (unless you use a boom mic). You have to do a voice over.

Also weird music is one thing, THAT music is another. Look at other horror movie previews. They use lower bass beats for most of the suspense building, not high pitched sounds. The music makes it sound amateurish, at best.

First off i did use a boom mic. And i didnt get a chance to screw around with sound so the music was probibly too loud. I can understand that. And i was planing on doing voice overs later on. This is just a trailer with the raw film. So yes it wont be hollywood.

Jesus Christ you people are criticing him as if he's a professional film maker..... though it was kind of weird lol but hey whatever floats your boat. Just kinda funny how it just randomly cuts through several scenes, like the zombie eating the flesh
