City of Dallas were # 1

city of Dallas has won for yet another year the highest crime reprote in the naiton of US, now that makes me feel very wram inside to live in a city like that.
anyways how do yall live, would you live you life in fear, or will you make the most of it?

I live in Saint-Jérome, a very small town.
But in Québec, it is the one town with the highest crime rate, even more so then Montréal.
Of course, this is put in statistics, as there are less people here then Montréal, but they say if my town was as big as Montréal, it would have a lot more crime the the previously mentioned.

Do I live in fear?
I never see ANYTHING happen here, at all. Which makes me wonder of the claims which are being put upon my little town.
Still, I have a blind fear of being robbed..in fact, I think I would rather get jumped, beaten up and ravaged in a ditch then to have all my possessions taken away..to be sold in some slumy pawn shop for some worthless drug addict..meh..that was cloed minded and pathetic..

I am chained by my belongings, and I hate myself for it. Really..
But that is not the subject..

Well, other then some maniac with an axe asking me where the antique store was, not much happens here..I am told that yes, the crime rate is high, however if one leaves people alone, nothing should happen to you.
I am thinking small time drug dealers or pimps, but I do not really know(There are prostitutes here, though.). As long as no one kidnaps me and forces me to sell my body on the streets, I will be fine..well, it does not always work like this either, I know, but yes..just ramblings about what I hear going on around here.

Oh my..I hope that by saying all this, I have not damned myself, or my videogames, to an untimely end by the hands of karma...

no you can essy get good karma by doing something good to someone randomly

but the thing is most people foces themself not to see things, that just how our minds work you know, but anyways most crime is usely not easy to see,
anyways the FBI where the one that came up with that list and you know how goverment could be bad, but if i stay out of olkcilf(a small places in dallas) as much as i could mostly cus you can hear gunfire there

Oh yes, people love to blind themselves to the woes of their community, I agree.

I would like to as well..no one likes crime. But I would rather know what goes on. Why, well to take precautionary measures? Maybe, I know not. All I know is that this place seems as tranquil as a rock at the bottom of a lake. Other then the occasional bar fight or familly disputes, I never see anything.
Of course..other things pass as crime..child abuse, for one. This goes on everywhere, and no one knows of it. If they do, then they do nothing.

And again, as you said, the govnerment are as much criminals as any dregs of society.

So where does one look to for truth?

Umm...well in the small city I live in there was just recently a murder that made it all over the local news. SO I live in a dangerous place. Not really though. There's usually no crime here.
