If you wore a goth set with a Christmas hat, you are hot and I want you. Right now.

Well, I did not have a Christmas hat, but for about twenty minutes, I had raindeer antlers on my head. They had flashing lights on them.

Aneways...back to teh subject of Christmas. I kinda like it, but everyone is right, there are many things that I hate about it. The point about loving everyone just at Christmas is ridiculous. And everyone just wants presents, very materialistic if you ask me. But I have had some bad experiences with Christmas. My family still think I am a little girl and always point out how stupid I can be. You wouldn't think you family would ever say that youre idiotic. I do get happy on Christmas morning just b/c I get presents and I know materialistic again, but I can't help it. And somehow my family spoils the moment for me. Sometimes I can't stand to listen to their comments about my hyperness on Christmas. So, I agree with most of you on the thread about Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas pet peeves, I hate the fact that starting at like November 20th ALL you hear on the radio, in stores, etc etc is CHRISTMAS MUSIC. Do these companies really think that people want to hear the same songs over and over and over again for an entire month? I'm sorry but this 24/7 Christmas Music thing needs to be about 1-2 weeks MAX.

I agree completely..although for malls and stores, it could not be much better then all the dance crap or elevator music they usually play.

I just wish they'd play TransSiberian Orchestra's stuff or other reasonable songs more often, instead of at least 4 versions of 12 Days of Christmas, 6 of Rudolph, 3 of white Christmas, 7 or 8 of Two Front Teeth (all but two versions had people singing in pefect voices, go figure), 14 of Jingle Bells (including Jingle Bell Rock), 2 of Here Comes Santa Clause, 2 of the Chipmunk Song, and a partridge in a pear tree. And those're just the ones I've heard more than one version of on the car radio this evening.
I always change it to 105.1 (Jack FM in my area), and only channnel surf during the rare commercial breaks.
Advent calendars: Have a permanent one, dug it out of the christmas decorations yesterday. Kind of pointless now.
Drunk Goth at a chrismas party: Terminal Est, I salute you!
Weirdness of christmas: You also wake up early to sit in front of a dead tree to eat candy and fruit out of your socks.
