OMG words cannot describe the dread I feel at thinking of my little boy as a teenager. Makes me shudder! Scares me because in some ways he''l be more vulnerable as a teen than as a toddler, right now he thinks he's indestructable but confidence like that can easily get ripped away from teens. I think we all know that from experience!

calm down. . . .there really is nothing we can do but keep a close eye on them and an active role in their lives. . .yes, we all know that feeling. . .we all go through it. . .
sadly, life is the thoughest teacher. . .it administers the lesson first, then teaches it(did that made sense?). . .and we tend to learn things that way. . .so you gotta really keep your eyes on him. . .sorry i cant give anymore advice. . .cuz there is no outline to being a good parent. . .and i only deal with such things cuz my brother is like a real pain. . .and a complete idiot. . .and i still got the word "teen" in my age. . .so im really just talking trash. . .

No you're not talkng trash, just sense. You're right, there's no complete manual to raising young ones so I just have to go with the flow, and try and be there as much as I can for him

This has happened to me before, Music holds memories deep inside you because people listen to music and place emotion in the songs they listen too. Music can easily bring back memories long forgotten, whether they be good or bad, but all you can do is look to the future and keep all of that behind you, because you can't lose yourself, strive to make yourself better and lose that past again. Don't dwell in what has happened, but rather look to what can happen, look at the bright side and too the future and be yourself and think of your child, raise him with morals and make him strong, he can overcome the nonconfidnce of being a teenager.
hehe I can't listen to One Lonely Visitor by Chevelle without starting to cry.
