Stupid internet connection
Time may be of the essence. My DSL is being stupid and I may be kicked offline or even not be able to access the internet at all.
Edit: I may disappear in the mniddle of a conversation, or not be around for maybe a couple of days in a row or more, this will explain itr. If anyone has suggestions, please help.
(DSL modem finally settled down, now it;s refusing to connect or even kicking me offliune occasionally)
Edit: I posted this fdirst on the leave of absence thread in case I logged off, then moved it here and deleteds the other post. Ignore that thread.

I would like to try and help Jet, but please keep in mind that I do not know much about this...but one thing however, it seems like your modem may be a problem. You should contact your Internet supplier and see what they say, or if they can come to check it out, or just give or sell you a replacement one. They should be able or at least willing to do all three. (DSL modems are not the same as cable ones though, right?)
In the instance that this is not the problem, maybe you can describe it a little more? I know someone I can ask about this, maybe they could help.

Yeah, it seems to have settled down a bit today. My theory is that it could have gotten used to being shut down all last week (like, got dust in the fan system or something), started to overheat, got up to working capacity but retained most of the excess heat it collected. It's running cooler now since I disconnected it with no power for about an hour last night, but it may still act up. Thanks for the offers of help, though.
Edit: Nope, it's the DSL service. They are being stupid.
