Terminal asked for pics of my room, and now she (along with the rest of you) receives pics of my room. Along with a number-coded guided tour (I don't actually have bright green numbers floating all over my room). Sorry if I took so long you actually forgot about asking (I don't even recall the context of the request), it took me until Friday to get the pictures, and I have not had any internet access since then (I'm typing this on my laptop at my grandmom's house Saturday afternoon-evening, with no chance whatsoever of driving an hour and a half, in the dark, back home), so I typed this out. Hope it's interesting. (By the way, my room used to be far worse, I have been trying to "tidy things up." Everything was properly organized, but in a way that looked really mesy. I should be finished in two, if not one more occurence of hyper-obsessing-cleaning mode.)

1. Particularly sentimental stuffed animals. Left to right: Muppet (lion, christmas gift), Muppet's pillow (black and red pillow, handmade christmas gift), either Joey (key dog from PotC, named for the dog my dad used to have) or Gargamel (pet cat who steals spots from stuffed animals), T.C. (lion, chewed on by Detroit of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge), Chi/Kai (chimera, or winged lion, but looks like Paddington Bear, christmas gift), Simba (from Lion King, from Disney... theme park in California), Alf (Husky, named after an extraneously named dog nicknamed Alf that apparently looked like the stuffed animal), Link (lynx, from TCWR), Mickey Mouse Class of '08 (bought with money from "graduation" present).
2. EverQuest 2 Collectors' Edition posters. Left to right: Reversible poster signed on one side by Heather Graham and on the reverse by Christopher Lee, cloth map of the world in which EverQuest takes place (currently part of the pile of books at 8 since Gargamel kept trying to sharpen his claws on it), Revirsible map of Quenos [showing] and Freeport [reverse])
3. bed. Actually, matresses. No frame. I don't like bedframes. Hasn't been made in a while, not really much point considering the current state of the rest of my room (started cleaning it a couple of months ago, but at least the pile of books that was once at 1 has become paert of pile 8 and part on the new bookshelf on the right of the other photo). Larger pillow was a handmade christmas gift with the Harry Potter house shields on, smaller one I made myself. 's got dragons on, blue ones, in the fire pattern.
4. Left: Bionicle poster, no idea where I got it, it's been years. Right: tiger poster. matches the one on my door (sort of). Liked this one, got the other because it was cheaper and was supposed to be the same but smaller (it was not), got this one later.
5. Stuffed animals. Lot of 'em are really old, the one to the right of the center is Opus from the original run of Bloom County. Got some other interesting ones, but you can't really see them.
6. Yu-Gi-Oh posters. Coloured most of them myself, the large one was from a school fair.
7. Lamp. I like this lamp, not too bright if I keep the shade between the lamp and my eyes. Got a dreamcatcher/windchime hanging from the crossbar.
8. Pile of books. And a towel. Why is that towel there? It should have been towards the foot of the bed, where I left it over the other fan's stand to dry.

9. formerly a laundry basket (still got clothing in, just for the look of it), now it's a stand for my fan. Can't sleep without air circulation.
10. drawings of Mew and Mewtwo I did while bored nearly a decade ago. tacked them to the wall, and they've been there ever since.
11. A sheet. I use it to block the rising sun from blinding me in the mornings. Not working, the corner keeps moving just a couple centimeters and lets the light right at my face.
12. A former end table which had previously been an end table for a couch. It's got my coin collection, my alarm clocks (can't stand the blasted things, kept upgrading but they got worse and worse), my stuffed lion collection (the green one is the second largest, the others are currently to the right and down and just look like shadows), and what I have to assume is a triceratops.
13. Television. Not hooked up to anything but the PS2 and the power outlet. Bah. Sits on the octagon table, which is a hexagonal cabinet with a table top. 's got a camoflaged door in one side.
14. Bookshelf. Had it for years. One of a set, but the other is reserved for my sister (who doesn't use it), spo I had to get the shelf at 17 recently or I couldn't clean my room or the living room for lack of book space (yes, my room used to be absolutely dreadful compared to this, you literally could not see the carpet, this is just a state of mild disarray. It will be more clean, though Pile 8 will stay where it is, it will just have different books in it each day... or week.) 3rd shelf from the top is where I plan to keep my discworld books (got some paperbacks already), as well as oversized books that don''t fit on other shelves (I have a complex system of alphabetical order by series or author, whichever I find more important). There's a poster with dragons on above the shelf, and I keep my copy of Max Brooks'
Zombie Survival Guide on the right side of the top of the case. And a birthday card, for some reason. Oh, and that's a diagram of the Saturn V rocket system.
15. My Shonen Jump manga magazines. They've already filled that shelf, I've got to keep some of the at the bottom of the shelf at 17. 's got my trading cards (yu-gi-oh, pokemon, some DBZ, and whatever I get free in shonen jump) on, as well as models and garage kits I've built over the years (you don't find decent anime models anymore, not even at specialty stores if you're in the U.S., everyone gets pre-made statues nowadays.) I keep a bunch of sentimental stuff on the lower shelf (or at least it was sentimental between six and ten years ago, I just haven't had the lack of heart to throw any of it out. It's all really old stuff, mostly in picture frames... Oh, yeah! It's also got my Magic kits, when I was trying to learn the skills required to become a sleight-of-hand illusionist.)
16. WHere's my fan? I should have a fan here, realy big one, with a painting of a dragon! Got to... Oh, yeah, it's next to my dresser. I took it down when I moved the new bookshelf into place.
17. My new bookshelf. put it together myself. You got the story earlier. The pillow's on the bottom shelf because Gargamel kept trying to sleep there. Then he stopped, and I left the pillow.

18. A poster on the back of a map I got with the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess strategy guide (release edition).
19. Dresser. Empty, except for the bottom drawer, which has sweatshirts that haven't fit me for years, and the top drawer, which has years-old candy, homemade soap (on a rope!), and a magic school bus ID card. The top of it is where I keep all my small cool stuff. And occasionally a book or two that I don't have time to find a better place for.
20. A mandala. At least, that's what they were callsed when I bought it. Iconium, Missouri. 's a cool place. 's got a coyote on, and faces in the cliffs (the wall hanging, not the town). 's made of thousands of tiny beads, like the pixels on a giant, high-res computer screen.
21. My games and anime rack (THERE's my fan, in front of it, leaning on the dresser!) Basically, I keep games on it. And manga and anime. Oh, and a not-quite-complete set of Star Wars: Jedi Academy books. (The pillow's there to stop Gargamel messing with it.)
22. Laundry. And a former end table that was made from a cardboard box filled with random stuff. I keep the laundry separated in different baskets so I don't have to sort it when I run it through the wash. Only one of the baskets is keeping my fan at the same height as my bed, so (only) one of the baskets is now a pile. There's also a robe and a quilt on the floor in front of the closet, but that's just because the robe is kept in front of the fan to dry after taking a shower, and I never got around to putting away the quilt this spring.
23. Storage. Clothing, a crate of those little planks that fell out of the closet door when it came apart. I hang dress shirts and ties from the right side of the rail, jeans from the middle, and to the left where you can't see from this angle are old costumes, a painter's smock made from an old dress shirt, and a set of conjoined hanging baskets for keeping pillowcases and sheets in.
24. Another fan. It's on a crate similar to a milk crate, only twice the length, or possibly width, and not owned by the American Dairy Association. Has a folded fleece quilt with a lion on for decoration, since I don't need six blankets like in the middle of winter.
Well, that's it. You all have gotten the grand tour of my room (except the door. On the inside it's got a picture of a tiger and a dragon fighting in a yin-yang symbol, and a poster with a 3-d looking tiger that looks as though it's tearing through the poster and wall, and, on the opposite side, a 6-foot tall poster of an unusually stylized chinese dragon with three limbs instead of two or four. I also have a dark red sheet over the window between my bed and closet, to act as a shade. And picture 1, with my bed, is to the northwest, picture 2, with the bookshelves, is along the east wall, and picture 3, with my dresser and closet, is along the south wall. The door is betwen my dresser and the bookshelf at 17. Aside from that, I think i got everything). Well, anyone else have pics of their home they would like to share? Any comments? Thread's open for replies, here, it's like the ultimate member's pic thread, only for the living space of forum members, and not quite so ultimate.
