Bonehead Boyfriend.
Well, this is indeed the closest section of the site I thought i could speak of this in..
Well, at the risk of being completely humiliated and scorned or being thought as just seeking attention, I can only say I will post it with all honesty and what comes of it will be.
Eric, my boyfriend and I were talking about different sexual methods and interests, and so in that time I decided I was going to tell him about a ''fantasy'' if you will, one that I have had for a very long time.
But I also told him that it embarassed me somewhat.
So I never did get to say what it was. His response to me when I told him my hesitation to tell him was that he does not want me to feel uncomfortable and that I do not have to say it if I do not wish to do so.
But..the reason why I brought it up in the first place was BECAUSE I wanted to tell him!
He was being so nice and everything, and of course I appreciate it..but how am I suppose to tell him that I was not feeling uncomfortable about saying what it was? Just a bit shy. I gave the complete wrong impression. And he just left it at that..
What the hell am I supposed to do now..? I have no idea why, but it keeps on bothering me..any suggestions?

Well to me it sounds as if the only reason he didnt earge you on further to tell him was because he maybe sensed you felt uncomfortable and thought it would be best for you to leave it untill ure ready...
My advice (i know it isnt the best but i'll try to help)....have u tried writing it down and showing it to him?....or maybe wait untill u feel confident enough to share your fantasy with him....
Thats the best i can think of at the moment sorry if i doesn't help....

I had sorta the same problem...with my girlfriend though. Its true, I have a girlfriend, and I'm not lying. But she lives in Vermont so we dont get to see each other much, only once a month.
The point I'm saying is that when I try to tell her something imp[ortant, I kinda trip my words, sound like I'm stuttering, so she told me that if I can't say it, then I shouldn't. But it was important, and I HAD to say it.
Thats when I just imagined something being her, then practiced sying the words to her until they were perfect. So, just imagine something or somebody being him, then say it to him until you feel less embarased or confident enough to tell him.
Sorry if that isn't enough help...

Besides that embarrassment is actually irrational, but natural. Worst case scenario, he doesn't like it so you don't do it. It wouldn't be so bad that he'd find you embarrassing or break up with you

Well I know that..but still.
I guess I shall wait then, as was suggested earlier. Because, I assume, if I had really wanted to say anything, no matter what I felt, I would have done so..

Well if I was not able to say anything to my boyfriend of it, I will certainly not say it to people of the internet I do not know.
But eh..I guess asking you all for advice is rather obnoxious of me.
