sympathy. well, some bookstores have coffee and occasionally biscuits/crackers/cookies that are technically free (local hastings does ask for donations), but failing that, milk is classified as a solid, and tap water (though completely void of nutrition and filled with a ridiculous amount of chemicals, though UI'm not advocating bottled water) can be somewhat filling. So you are completely out of food? A lot of inedible ingredients can be prepared in surprising ways to form an unexpected edible combination (cooking may be required), but I don;t know the resources available to you or in the area, so that's about it for possible suggestions.  |

Awwww I would send you some food if I could (my cupboards are teaming as always)
Uni life SUCKS for running out of money!!! My little brother is having to move home because he's in the same situation, he can't afford to stay at his Student house any longer. I had a bloodsucking boyfriend when I was at Uni, who thought it would be really clever to spend my loan on a PS2 instead of the rent, so I know how it feels to be penniless

no noodles in cups. and so begins day 2 of my foodless days. on monday though I can have food again ^_^

I tried it once .... didn't taste as bad as I thought but I would only eat it if I was really hungry
but it IS filled with iron and essential minerals
on the downside ... we only have one stomach

Theoretically, the grass idea makes sense. I tried eating entirely foraged plants as a experiment once, as long as you wash them and make sure they're not something that makes humans sick, it should be okay. But then, by the time you read this, the university would already be open.
