Mixing Science with Spirituality is a huge headache, as one always tries to cancel out the other. I saw this happen with Astrology- it began as a science, then soon the insertion of religion by the Greeks and Romans made us forget that it was a science, it became a load of mythological nonsense.
I've even heard of scientists that base their theses on their religious standpoint, but they are rarely taken seriously. Though it is a nice idea that they have, because I think that we all would like to see scientific backing of our beliefs, I esp. am the kind of person who seeks this kind of "proof".
I think the closest any scientist has come to combining the two is with Kirlian photography, which gives a picture of our individual auras. I found that VERY interesting, as it really linked us with animals and plants, which have auras just like we do. And to see an image of our life force is pretty amazing. They even managed to photograph an aura around bottles of essential oils- plant essences extracted by steam or solvent processes, which you would expect to be quite "dead" after being seperated from it's parent plant. Rather they have quite an energetic aura!
Hmm, mixing science and spirits has always provided good plotlines for movies, eh Firesnake?

It may prove as a headache, but I believe that if both practitioners and holders of both mediums could get along instead of arguing and trying to negate the other, then perhaps we might discover many different things. It may open new doors, and offer new enlightenments.

you were scared of the ghostbusters?.... spooky
ok new theory: we are here because.... they needed something to destroy this planet
so they chose us.. who you ask?
that is a mystery
is there a god? I don't know
I don't believe it. but I guess there is something that is not explainable
I have escaped death like 12 times now that can't be coincidence (ghehehe coin) there must be a reason why I still live
(but really ghostbusters is a grat mix of science and ... stuff)

Fu fu fu how weird that you would bring up that theory- that's what my mum believes that aliens have done in putting us here (this is crazier than even I can come up with)- we are their version of a social experiment to test our mettle when it comes to not only destroying the planet, but ourselves aswell, hence the prominence of war throughout our history. She believes that the same fate fell on Venus and Mars, explaining why they may have been inhabited at one time and are not now, apparently.
Ok I'm not too sure myself about the alien part, but I do wonder about this urge we have in our blood to destroy, again whether it be the planet or ourselves. And I have always wondered about life on other planets, if they have the same war-like urges we do.
Wow you've escaped death 12 times... I really don't know what to make of that!! That brings in the element of whether our existence is timed, do we have a set time between life or death, or is it totally to chance...

Hmmm... You people are always trying to find new ways to prove creationism wrong. It's almost as if your being diliberatly defiant to the teaching passed down the ages. But Iv'e already said my bit so I'll not take this further.

christianity hasnt been passed down the ages, its not all tht long ago it is created. but my religion wicca came before it and was going fine until the christians came and destroyed the vikings and all the tribes, now in a society of christiany it has only just been reintroduced, altho its now beginning to thrive again. we conder hindu the oldest religion i think but when u trace wicca back and all its differewnt variatioon wicca, is older still. so maybe you christians are following a killing religion?( no offence ment)
