This is true, though maybe we should still not be so quick to slam it down. I've been guilty of that myself, but then I realise that no I'm no closer to the truth myself, therefore making me a hypocrite. I'm not sure if proving things worng is the right way to go all the time, but it's all I can do until I can prove something right!!! I also studied a little bit about Wicca, and though maybe I could have expanded a little on it, maybe looked at other branches of paganism such as druidery, not all of it fit with me. It's probably the closest I got though! I do very much believe in the elements, as a power of nature, and my herbal studies have often had me experimenting with green "magick", but usually in a logical context, such as to make me feel a certain way eg. comfort or happiness, or curing illness the natural way.
I think it's a little strong to call Christianity a "killing religion", as I don't believe it started out that way. Of course I can't say for myself what Jesus was trying to do, but I think it started out with good intention, and the Roman influence marred it. But then they did that just about everywhere they went, which as a Wiccan you should know Phantom. Britain really got it in the neck from the Romans, I'm not sure how "Christian" they were then, but it was definitely the Romans. And we must remember, even in the East different religions have warred with each other over who is right, even the Buddhists and the Taoists.
Btw are you British Phantom?

Eh, humans are here, psychophilosophically, because we were a timely receptacle for sentience. We are here geographically because nobody's really bothered with interplanetary travel, and this is the planet on which we, as a mentally collective species, originated (extraterrestrial colony becoming feral, then populating planet and redeveloping civilization notwithstanding). "We are here," said the Whos, because thus wrote the Dr.
I am here, and each of you are here, philosophically, for individual reasons. Some people may have fates, some may only be filler, Some could in fact be another plane of existence. each of us is here for a purpose we each may figure out, but we as a collective don't really have a reason to be here.
Oh, and those of the "cyclical living" philosophy, it still counts torward individuals. You are here befcause you need to be tested another 72 times, or however many. "We are here to be tested" does not work.

interesting theory, basically ploughing thru all of our arguments, but Miss L you should know that wicca branches off nearly everywhere and leaves a lot of room for whole choice i believe we are very wide in wht we can do, I bet nearly evry wicca has different beliefs and gods. My frend worships a god tht has bin laughed at by others, thinking its a loud of twaddle. I believe in elemental magic and spirits from the far planes called dragons. maybe you are wiccan and you just dont realise. But you know how you sed green magick, the book which I learnt from says there is neither good nor bad magic or coloured magic, its the way in which the user uses their magic defines wht it is.
Im in a bit of a confusion tho, life sometimes seems to revolve around me often like I was listening to a song and started learning the words and today we sing it and a song from a musical Im doing from a different place. is it not strange? and yeh pure british here. half welsh half english.

Uhuh, I thought you would be
I use the term "green" just to indicate that it's something natural I am doing, not really for good or evil. It's just everyday use of the earth's resources, mostly directed at myself, my son and my house, you know protection and the like. I'm not sure that I believe in "gods", for me they are more of a representation of that which they are god of, not as a person or such. Like I have been told I have a connection to the God Minerva, which I believe is a god of women's work and religion, female empowerment etc. Though I'm not sure that Minerva is a thing that exists, I know what it represents, and I suppose thinking about Minerva serves as a reminder of that representation. But of course, there really could be a Minerva, I just don't know! Dragon,s I think they could have existed a long time ago, and I'm not closed to the idea of them existing now, damn my imbedded scientific reasoning! It can be my enemy sometimes, because I simply refuse to believe what I can't see, which in turn probably blinds me to a lot of things that I could be seeing..

I think a lot of people experience that at some point, more like they are on auto-pilot than actually living. Could you elaborate on that one? I might be able to understand a little and help out.

I'm 23, I don't mind saying though I'm pretty old. I have had Tarot readings both from my mum and a Wiccan who lives near me, and yeah it was freakily accurate. She predicted that my China trip would show me how much of an asshole my Chinese penpal was, and yeah, he really was. I have't used Tarot myself, instead I have a Mah Jongg oracle card set, which is fantastic. I do a simple spread every now and again, I like to observe all the hidden meanings, which again is the scientist in me. Though of course I hve no idea why it's so damn accurate!
I feel very real right now, so I don't think we are a computer program, we have too many far-out views which makes us human. If we were more "normal" than we are, maybe we would be some sort of no-real beings, but don't worry, we are real! maybe what you are experiencing is an awakening of sort, like an extended feeling of rubbing your eyes and making sure you are awake and not still dreaming. I had a similar experience at the end of my hard time, I kinda went on auto-pilot for a while and tried to adjust to feeling like I was actually real myself. Like waking from a nightmare. Who knows. maybe we are trapped in some virtual reality Matrix-style, but right now I feel very much alive and awake and you may feel the same soon.

I heard that sleeping with cards under your pillow helps the connection. I tried that, but then my little one found them and madness ensued...
Thanks for your info. I don't read much to other people, but I can use your advice if I do
