Does anybody else think that if FF7, 8 or 9 were made again they would be 15's?
Ya know with the Swearing and all, especially FF8.
I want to hear your oppinions.

There's barely enough swearing in all combined to merit even a 12 certificate.

And Zidane in FF9, he didnt hold em back.

Ok Ill give you a few, but ill edit them:
Zell to Seifer on the way to Balamb for the SeeD test:"B**T**D"
Barret said "M*t*er**ck*r" a few times in FF7.
Zidane said B**ta*d more times than you would notice in FF9.
And there was plenty more.

Barret has never said "motherfucker". The closest he got was when they edited out the bits with "fucker" from it.

"Bastard" has become more and more widely used as a mild curse that ever. I mean, the Simpsons use it.

Even if they did put "fuck" or "shit" or whatever, nowadays that doesn't constitute much at all. I mean, the most a film/show can get from swearing of that level alone, even intense stuff, is a 15.

Back then they only got 12 ratings, what do you expect they'll get now?

Even if the fucker part was edited, in a remake with actual voiceovers you couldnt edit it could you.
Taking what else you said into account I still think it would be at least a 15.

to be an 18 it has to promote killing of other human beings, have groteutuos violence and (hasn't happened yet) sechs.
