I thought Cloud, REd XIII and vincent was effective. but cid was good too.

Cloud, Vincent, and Red hands down. I like Cloud, Red, and Yuffie too but that was mainly when I was leveling the characters. I like Cloud, Red, and Cid too. Needless to say I really like Red in my parties. XD

But... why? Statistically Red just didn't have the stats the other party members had, and his limit break was nowhere near as powerful as the Powerful Four.

Cid, Cloud and Vincent. I liked Red XIII in my party too since he was one of my favorite characters.

Red's a cat(automatically makes him cool), looks cool, and, if used effectively, can have some killer magic combinations.

I like Cloud (of course), Red, and Tifa. And since Red is a cat that makes him awesome. But, I also like to switch between Tifa and Vincent.

My party varied throughout the game but it mainly consisted of these parties. It just depend upon the situation I was in.
Team A: Cloud, Cid, and Red.
Team B: Vincent, Barret, Tifa.
