Aerith is playable. Unless you were thinking of "playable" meaning "to use in battle," in which case Aerith gwenerally stinks. Se's a cool character for being a character, though.

Yeah, I was thinking of playable as in useful, and I love the girl but she was only useful if you needed some sort of healing.

Very weak in battle but very strong in character.
