...problem...FF8

Kind of really annoyed with myself because I'm usually really good when it comes to quests and things in games, but recently i borrowed Final Fantasy 8 from a close friend (played 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 10/2, 12 never actually got around to playing number 8 so i thought i'd give it a try) but yeah i've really got into it
Anyway back to the main subject, i'm in the middle of the stone quest type list thing that where you have to retrieve different stones to give to the Shumi Sculputor in order to get the gift from the head Shumi, but i cannot for the life of me find the blasted Water stone...
I've just got Squall, Zell and Quistis running around in circles clicking on random things trying to find it, i even got pwned by the damn pond stone
So yeah any fast help would be much appreciated

Go to the artistan's house (the one who has the falling car models)
go into his kitchen and search the kitchen sink.
you shallt find a water stone!
