The easiest FF on PS?
I found it very simple.
The enemies levels were exactly proportionate to your own, the junctioning sytem increased your stats and, I gotta say, Ultimecia is the easiest final boss I have EVER played.
Anyone elses opinions?

Really, I found Ultimecia really hard.
I thought the easiest boss on FF8 was The Abadon.

Hero + Aura = Ownage
Nah, i thought it was pretty stupid that you could use GF'snearly every battle for an easy win, and by the Dollet mission Squall could have 8100 HP (mine has)

Yeah, but, not only is the first disk of my ff8 faulty, i played it today, turns out second disk is too. Can't use GFs in battle.
But I never do anyway since they've never worked on disk one since I got it, and the spider-robot is so frustrating, it doesn't load, and if it does it takes ages, GAH..I'm on a timer here, y'know?

I don't think FF8 it's so easy, yes FF7 was harder and you can't compare Ultimecia with Sephirot, but it had a good balancement of difficulty, so you can enjoy it very much.I think it's the best FF at all togheter to FF7

This thread is old.
I did not think it was all that easy, although once I got the hang of the Junction System and enough spells to come up with decent combinations, it was a rather straight flow from there. The hardest subjects were locating the enemies you needed to get things from, what to mix them with and so on. The only reason it made it a bit difficult was because in the first half of the game, one does not have access to much of anything, and are limited in options on how to go about progress.
(The card games were harder then anything else. )
Although whatever chalenges the game offers are rendered void once you get enough Meltdown spells to junction to your attack.
Perhaps not the easiest final guardian in role playing game history, Ultimecia was indeed a joke when one couples Lionheart with Meltdown spells..it was so quick that I do not even remember what she looks like.
