Looking for more FF - Final Fantasy Net

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 'new' Final Fantasy game to play that has a version for the PC. I've played FF2 (or four, whatever, its the one with Cecil and Kain) FF4 (the one with Locke and Terra) and FF7 (I love it). I've never played anything beyond FF7 and know absolutely nothing about all of the more recent ones. I'm not going to play the mmo, so don't recommend that one. But tell me honestly: which Final Fantasy games post-FF7 are fun to play and have a gripping storyline and cool characters? And of course, is it for the PC? Some reviews of the FF games would be awesome.

Is that available for PC? I thought that was only PS2 compatible. And any particular reasons for me getting FF8? Is the combat system badass? Is the story intriguing? Stuff like that.

Well for one yes it is PC, thats why i said it. 2. ff8 isnt ps2 compatible but just regular PS compatible, and it plays on ps2 also

Basically its the only other PC ff, but its still good, just get it for like £3 off of amazon

only about 40 quid or 60 with game might as well get a new one though for 100 with2 games
or buy super cheap on ebay/amazon

Oh I already have a ps2, I just don't have a tv in my dorm so that complicates that and makes me prefer a PC FF.

fair enough u might wanna get a psp they might do a ff8 port (thats purly hopfullness)
