No way man I love FFVIII but what u just said is true...People don't like it so much..I just wish I had the game

VIII is my favourite game of the series. It annoys me a bit to see how unpopular it is. >.< I've always said I'd love to see FFVIII made into a movie. What makes the game so great is the characters, i think. It seems like everyone can relate to/really like at least one of the characters. And the storyline is, of course, pure brilliance. ^_^

One of the reasons why it isn't so popular might be because it was a follow-up to VII. FFVII did so well, it was always going to hard to match it with the next game.

i found it super hard
maybe thats coupled with a follow up to VII?

i liked what i played
so it def. doesn't suck
i wasnt even touching, let alone scratching the surface too

Yes indeed!! I even love the opening movie/song...That doesn't usually catch my attention in a game, but the FFVIII one did. ^_^

Yeah, I'd recommend it to anyone...AND EVERYONE!!

You either love FFVIII or hate it, I personally hate it because the magic system is horrible and the game can get way to easy latter in the game. I beat the Ultima weapon in two hits, really easy. I don't like 8 much, the music is great though, I'm going to stick with 6, that's the best.

I don't see how people can consider VIII the worst in the series. If that's true, they probably have not played it, and probably not most of the games in the series. Some of the games are worse in quite a few aspects (though it's pure opinion whether the're worse overall).

i could one shot ultima weapon to i mean he's a pushover but omega weapon was a different story... ad i heard alot of ppl didn't like ff8 because it was to "serious" and with that i mean the lack of minigames but ff8 is still my favorite ff it has a great story and one of the coolest main chracters i think

and as for being easy so was ff9 but thats just my opinion
