I know that mods and alex are supposed to have supreme power here at ffnet. But with the ever increasing annoyance of spambots and lack of any mod being on to delete ban or whatever the bots shouldn't someone who is on all the time is annoyed as much as mods by the bots and would be trustworthy with the power to delete said posts by said spambots. It would just be a little easier if someone was always around to delete or deal with said bots. Now i know i'm suggesting you think me because i fit said qualifications but it should be nominated or chosen by you (the mods/alex). I don't care if you shoot down the suggestion but i just figured having a police of sorts for the bots would be kinda...for lack of better term cool. And i'm not suggesting myself for the said police job but if i could i would nominate New Keyblade 9 for said job because he is frequently on the site annoyed by the bots and is trustworty. But like i said this is just me thinking outloud.

This will no longer be needed ; However, Since all the moderators are pretty much useless (Even me) right now, I might talk to alex about changes in the roster, maybe even getting him to demote me.

PS: It wont stop the spambots, only a change in the registration process would mean that. However, it would mean their posts would be removed.

Thanks snaggs i figured your opinion would mean sumtin to alex and i figured they couldn't be deleted except through the admin cp so just deleting there posts is good enough doubt the same one comes back twice

they just use multiple bots because they know we will ban anything that is spamming continually. one post, we ban them for spamming. then here comes ten more of them, so say we ban them all. would it ever stop? nope.

= annoying.

i should send them porn links, then how would they feel! "oh my, i'm the spambot who spams viagra everywhere, this is uncalled for! i don't even like porn!" well neither do i.
