Spam Section

If there ever is a time when things might get out of hand, it might be a good idea to make a section specifically for spam incase people are spamming too much in threads. That way people can relieve themselves of spam before they post. Just a suggestion, but I've seen this work well on other forums

The spam that we deal with right now is primarily bot spam. They don't know and don't care about any "spam section". There are occasional "human" offenders *cough*sora*cough*, but not enough to justify a "spam" section.

On that note, if you see any spams inside threads etc, please let a moderator know (assuming that we dont stumble upon it.)

YAY finally someone agrees with me that sora spams alot. But a spam section would be fun. It wouldn't count for post of course. But it would be fun.

I'll let the idea bounce around a bit. I wouldn't look forward to it though, it just isn't all that necessary at this point.

It may not be nessessary but it's fun. and as long as it doesn't count to your posts it's fine. My friends have a very succesful IF site that has one of those.

I dont think a spam section is needed...i mean...is not spamming really that hard...or even that big of a deal...

There is a Spam Section, except I closed it, it was terrible idea, DO NOT START IT UP AGAIN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

I'm not saying RIGHT now. Sort of as an emergency thing in case the forum happens to get out of control in the future if more members come. I've seen it work effectively on other forums

I still dont think its needed...because threads like forum families and stuff are pretty much nothing but spam anyways...but thats just my opinion...
