I think the new forum skin should use boxes like the original FFs used for speech bubbles, much like the FF9 speech boxes.

This sounds intruiging.

There should also be a user's choice of Classic or Original, like FF9. But there should also be a choice for a skin like this one, just in case some users have eye problems or find it painful to look at.

That's what Alex was planning to do, there was a big thread about it a long time ago, but it was pruned into oblivion.
