Well mostly it has to do with her, so even though nobody knows who she is, I am not entitled to revise what happened. It was really my fault though, so I understand why she was mad, but still.

She is really cold towards me now though, and will not talk about what happened. We were on the phone and when I tried talking about it she hung up on me. She phoned me this evening and acted like nothing happened, but in that cold and direct way. I guess she does not want to deal with it and I can respect that, but it still sucks.

Yeah it's frustrating when you just want closure on the issue but the other person won't face up to it. Not sure what the best thing is to do, I suppose all you can do is wait in hope that she'll come around eventually.

Pah, friends are so complicated!!! I've noticed how much simpler life has been since I lost contact with my old friends, it's quite liberating. It will probably all start up again once I get to Uni and meet new people, which is annoying. The hermet's life is quite attractive

Hmm maybe when I'm old and decrepit I should just go and find a cave to hide in ^^

I admit this was my fault, really. Although I do believe that at the time I thought I had all rights. She is still angry. What am I supposed to do?

Ah feck, this is a toughie. It's strange that she won't just sort things out once and for all, the longer she goes on that way the less likely you are to re-build the friendship. It would be no use me telling you not to put up with it and to get rid of her, because you care much more than that, I can tell.

Though that said, no matter what it is you've done or she thinks you've done, being angry and resentful about it isn't helping anyone. It's a shame you can't get her to just sit down and work things out, because it's really the only thing that can make things better. Unless she's the type of person that would take a gift as an apology, or something like that (it works for me).

I really hope you manage to get through this, I know my advice isn't of much use but if I could help in some way, I would. It makes me sad knowing you're sad

I agree, some times apologies and admission of responsibleilties is best. But then, there are alot of people who wont take such things worth a proverbial grain of salt. But anything is worth a try. Im sorry that i can't say much more...

I can put my foot in my mouth as well. At least, I can manage the big toe almost all the way in if I stretch it far enough.

Thank you for the advice and kind words everyone. And ML, please do not be sad about it. If we do not mend our friendship, I am sure I will mend myself eventually. Still, first my boyfriend leaves, and now this. Or am I that scary? XD
