Rules-must Read.

Hmm.
It was previously felt that many of the rules were pretty much common sense, or forum etiquette, but due to the on surge, the Moderators have decided to make specifically clear the rules of Final Fantasy Net.

Signatures:
The stricter rule for these is that your sig images should be NO BIGGER than 500(width) x250(height), landscape.
I think that's a sensible size. No one wants to have pages and pages worth of scrolling for one sig.
I think, however, that is should be between 500x250 and 600x250 pixels landscape.
After the next twenty-four hours, if your signature is too big, I or another mod will remove it.

Posting:
- No double posting. I or another mod will remove it and edit your first post to include the second post's message.
- No necro-posting unless you have something informative or useful to say on the topic. That means, for instance, not finding a year-old thread about your favourite juice drink and saying, "Food is good." Stickies can always be posted in.
- Don't flame. Pure and simple. No flaming.
- Be respectful. Do not be demeaning. It's not nice. Mods/supermods have done it and they're still in the wrong. If you find yourself insulted by something, say so or respond in a non-abusive manner. If it's something like saying the holocaust was good and extremely racist, report it and it will be deleted.
- No racism, sexism or anything like that. Sexism, MAYBE as a joke if it's obvious and not insulting; but racism and similar is most DEFINATELY a no-no.
- NO SELF WHORING. I can't believe I forgot this before. Basically, no signing up, promoting yourself then pissing off elsewhere, or signing up, posting a couple of times, promoting and continuing to post. Or basically, just don't do it. It's annoying, REALLY ANNOYING

All posting rules come with a verbal warning first then a stricter punishment, normally a 3-day ban.
Please keep to these rules and make FFNet a nice, enjoyable place to be.
